Multidisciplinary filmmaker born in Albania and raised in Italy, his work explores the thin line between magic and realism. During his academic studies in Rome he shot his first short movies, which screened worldwide. In 2016 he partecipated in the Venice Film Festival with egh-ovalis, an experimental film project with Emiliano Montanari and Enrico Ghezzi. In 2017 he “showed” a paradoxical immersive superfilm in Gagosian Gallery in Rome, influenced, among others, by the unedited documentary he made on the artist Miltos Manetas and contemporary Rome-based artists. Exploring the relationship between time and narrative, his current work is a study of two contrasting themes: the harmonious nature of water and the psychology of AI.
